SOYA CHUNKS VADA


Today's recipe is soya chunks vada.It is perfect evening time snack.You can have this with hot coffee or tea.It won't take so much of time to prepare.Easy to make.Hope you all like this.Children's also will love this snack. 





Ingredients:

  • Soya chunks -200gm
  • Green chilli - 1
  • Garlic -10 pieces
  • Ginger - 10 small pieces
  • Salt
  • Oil-for deep frying
  • Onions - 2 (Finely chopped)
  • Maida -1 cup
  • Corn flour -1/4 cup
  • Coriander Leaves



Preparation: 

  1. Wash the soya chunks in cold water and soak it in hot water for 5 min.Drain the soya from hot water then transfer it to a bowl and keep closed.
  2. In a mixie jar add green chilli,ginger,soya chunks and grind it  to a fine paste.Transfer the batter to a container and keep closed.

Method:

  1. In a wide pan add batter and add onions,Coriander ,maida,cornflour,salt and mix well.No need to add water.
  2. Apply oil on both hands and take small portion of the dough and make it to round shape then slightly flattened the batter with fingers.
  3. Heat a pan with enough oil for deep frying.Add the shaped batter to the oil gently and cook fior about 2 min.And flip over other side  and cook until golden brown.
  4. Once cooked transfer it to a plate and serve it with tomato sauce or Coconut chutney.

1.Soak the soya chunks in hot water and squeeze the soya from water.



















2.Add all the ingredients given in method and grind it to a fine paste.


3.To that add the other ingredients as given in preparation.

















4.Now add Corn flour ,maida and make it to a firm dough.


 

















5.Take a few portion and make it to a rround flatten shape.





6.Heat the pan with oil and gently add the round shaped dough and fry until turns golden.




7.SOYA CHUNKS VADA is ready to serve .
