HOW TO MAKE MUSHROOM GRAVY
MUSHROOM GRAVY
Hello friends ..How are you all? How was your new year celebration.?? And we welcomed our new year happily.As i said we went for mini tour with our family.My children's were super excited.There we spent good time. Also i pray to god , May this year be the good start for everyone.


And today's recipe is mushroom gravy.We can eat this with chappathi or parrottas.It is preapred with button mushrooms and masalas.A Spicy recipe. Hope you like this .Do try this in your home.
INGREDIENTS:
- Onion - medium size 4
- Tomato - 2
- Green chili - 3
- Oil - As Required for taste
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 2spn
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbspn
- Bay leaf -1
- Fennel seeds - 1/2 tbspn
- Cardamom - 2
- Cinnamon - 1inch piece
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbspn
- Mint leaves -few
- Cashewnut - 6
- Button Mushroom - 250 gms
- Gram masala - 1/2 tbspn
- Kasuri methi - 1 tspn
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbspn
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tbspn
- Salt - As required taste
METHOD :
- In a heat pan add 3 tbspn oil and add the bay leaf, fennel seeds, cardamom and cinnamon. Saute it for above one mits.
- Now add onion saute it until it turns golden brown, and add tomatoes saute it untill it turns mushy, and add green chilli, than add ginger garlic paste,
- Than add mint leaf, and turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, and add coriander powder, saute it for above 5 mts.
- Then finally add mashroom saute it for 5mts.
- Now add water to required consistency, and add salt. Cover the pan let it for 10 to 15 mts.
- Soak the cashewnut in water for 30min and grind it to a fine paste. Otherwise you can add conflour mix. Then add cashewnut paste, and add water to a required consistency.
- And cook for about 10 to 15 mts. Finally add kasuri methi it gives food flover for gravey.
- Now mushroom gravy is ready .Serves it with wheat chappathi.
STEP BY STEP IMAGES:
Heat a pan and add oil, once hot add all spices as listed in the method and add onion saute it for about 3mts.
Then add green chilli ,mint leaves and tomatoes.Stir well.
Now add ginger garlic paste and mix well.When tomatoes becomes mushy add masalas as listed in the method in a low flame.Also add mushrooms and mix well.
When oil begins to separate add water to a required consistency.And mix well.Mushroom will also release water so be carefull while adding water.

When it begins to boil add cashewnut paste and mix well.Flame should be in medium.After adding the cashew paste it will begins to thick.
When gravy comes to a required consistency turn off the flame and add kasthuri methi.It will give good flavour to the gravy. and serves hot with chappathi.
