MUTTON BIRYANI


     EDI MUBARAK TO ALL, May allah shower you lots of happiness, love, and peace.  May this eid  put an end to pandemic.  For this eid i have tried Non - Veg food for the first time.  To my surprise it came well.  My neighbors will share swets and food for every eid.  This time,  I prepared  Mutton Biryani specially and shared with them.  To this biryani i have added home made masala which will gives extra and good flavour to the biryani.  We can add the home made masala powder to any kind of biryani.  You can prepare this masala and store them in air tight container for long use.  Prepare this Mutton Biryani for eid and celebrate.  For easy understanding checkout the video given below.  Do try this recipe and send me pictures, Which will give me immense pleasure.



  





TO PREPARE HOME MADE MASALA :

  • Star anise - 1
  • Cardamom - 2                                                 
  • Coriander seeds - 2tspn
  • Cinnamon - 2 ( small size)
  • Pepper corns -  1tspn
  • Cloves -3
  • Fennel seeds - 2 tspn


       




 





















 
INGREDIENTS :
  • Mutton - 1/4 kg
  • Ghee - 2 tbspn
  • Oil - 2tbspn
  • Onion - 2 medium size
  • Ginger , Garllic Paste - 2 tbspn
  • Green chilli - 2
  • Tomatoes - 2 medium size
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Salt - As for taste
  • Water - 2 cups
  • Rice - 1 cup  (Basmati rice  optional)
  • Coriander leaves  -One hand full
  • Mint leaves - One hand full














PRE - PREPARATION :

1. Clean and wash the mutton pieces and pressure cook for about 5 whistles.

2. Let's  start with preparaing the masala.  For that heat the pan to dry roast the ingredients wihich are given under the title homemade masala ingredients.  Then grind to fine powder.


PREPARATION :


1.  In the pressure pan or kadai and 2 tbspn ghee and then add oil.  Once the ghee melt, add the whole spices and saute till turns aromatic.

2.  Add onion and saute well until truns golden brown.  Then add ginger garlic paste.  Cook untill the raw smell gone.

3.  Add green chillies and tomatoes.  Keep the flame in medium and cook till the tomatoes become mushy.  

4.  Add the powdered masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix uniformly.  Also add curd and mix well.

5. Now add pressure cooked mutton pieces and add some salt.  To that add 2 cups of water and stir uniformly.

6. Once boiled water. Add soaked basmati rice and cook until the water absorbed 3/4th. And add coriander leaves, and mint leaves.

7.  Close the ild and cook for 15 minutes in low flame.  When the pressure released completely, Open the lid and transfer to plate.


                    







  Now Mutton Biryani Is Ready To Serve.
