JACK FRUIT ICE CREAM
This post is about How to prepare homemade Jackfruit ice cream. In this may month, it is season for jackfruit it will be available abudantly in southern part of india. So we had a chance to prepare this at home. IF you want new flavoured ice cream then definitely give a try. Also we can prepare this with available home ingredients.Choose well riped fruit to prepare this ice cream. So that we will get rich taste. Also add some salt to enchance the sweetness. INGREDIENTS :
- Jack fruit - 1/2kg
- Milk - 500 ml
- Corn flour - 3tbspn
- Sugar - 5tspn
- Nuts - To need garnesh (Optional)
METHODS:
1. Wash the jackfruit and remove the seeds. And then grind them finely using blender or mixie.
2. In a small bowl add 3 tbspn of corn flour to that add milk and mix well without any lumps.
3. Heat the 500 ml of milk in a pan also add sugar and stir uniformly. When the milk was come to boiling add corn flour mix.
4. After 10 minutes add the jackfruit paste. Stir frequently in medium flame. When mixture is in thick consistency, turn off the falme.
5. Oce the mixture was cooled grind the mixture to fine paste. Then freeze it for 2 hours.
6. In a large bowl add whipping cream and cold water. Using Beater make the mixture to fluffy consistency.
7. After 2 hours take out the jack fruit mixture and add it to mixie jar then grind to fine paste. Then mix with whipped cream and mix uniformly. Now Freeze it 8 to 10 hours in air tight container.
8. Jack fruit ice cream is ready to enjoy.
