HOW TO MAKE PALKOVA WITH FOOD CONTINENT




PALKOVA


     Hi Friends !!!  Hope your day is going good.  Today i am going to share most interesting and one of my favourite traditional sweet recipe - "Palkova".  We can prepare this sweet with just two ingredients.  We will prepare this palkova on special days for offering this sweet to God.

     During my childhood days,  My grandma prepared this palkova for us.  I have 6 siblings we will sit together and eagerly waiting to eat palkova,  Until she gave it in small bowl to everyone.  That smell from the kitchen will drool us.  After she came out from the kitchen we will shout and express our joy for palkova.  After she serves palkova she will used to say some stories for us.  Those are beautiful memories,  Which will cherished in our heart forever.


     Regarding this recipe,  We need just 2 ingredients,  Milk and sugar.  It is prepared by simmering the milk until it has been reduced to half and creamy texture.  After adding sugar it will thick in consistency and to cook it takes 30 minutes.  Here i have included video for easy understanding.  Do try this and enjoy have a joyfull day.








INGREDIENTS : 

Millk - 2 liter.
Sugar - 200 grams.








PREPARATION :

1.  In large wide pan,  add 2 liter of milk and brings to boil.  Keep the flame in medium low.

2.  Cook until it has been reduced to half.  Keep strring otherwise, it will stick to bottom.

3.  When milk had been reduced to half,  Add 200 grams of sugar and stir continuously.

4.  After adding sugar, it will startr to melt and will becomes thick.  At this stage reduce the flame to low and keep stirring.

5.  It may take 20 to 15 minutes to get exact texture.  Until then we have to stir continuously to avoid burning.

6. When the milk come without sticking to the pan, turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate.  Let it cool for few minutes.
